GROUP CLASSES

Gentle Yoga

Enjoy gentle stretches, joint mobility, modified poses, breathing techniques and meditations to easily relax your body, mind and spirit. This is perfect if you are new to yoga or if you have physical limitations or concerns.

Yoga Blend

Explore a blend of yoga styles, taught in a relaxed and friendly environment. If you are new to yoga or if you want to deepen you understanding and practice of basic techniques of breathing, yoga poses and meditation, this class is for you. You will be guided into proper and safe alignment of the poses so that you get the most benefits. Classes begin with breathing exercises, then we flow into a series of yoga poses and we end with guided relaxation. We’ll blend from Iyengar, Kundalini, Bikram, and Ashtanga yoga styles. We also include Qigong and Tai Chi practices and other practices to help us stay strong and healthy as we age.

 

Candlelight Yoga & Aromatherapy

Lights down, candles around the room and around your mat. (Note: For safety, these are flameless candles). Gentle aroma scents from essential oils and oil blends are spritzed or diffused in the room. A calming and meditative yoga practice that matches the qualities of the oils used. Nourish your body, mind and spirit with this class.

Kundalini Yoga

Brought to the United States in 1969 by Yogi Bhajan, Kundalini Yoga has very quick and powerful effects, waking you up physically, mentally/emotionally and spiritually! In each class, we will do a kriya (yoga set) that is designed to bring about a specific result. Physically, every system in your body gets a boost, especially, your immune, glandular and nervous systems. Mentally/Emotionally,  reduce anxiety and increase clarity and calmness. Spiritually, awaken your spirit to love, unity and limitlessness. The best way to understand Kundalini Yoga is to do it! Come experience it – you’re gonna love it!
